Boseman Gallery Presents Karl Sims "A Video Retrospective"

UNCW Presents' Ann Flack Boseman Gallery proudly presents evolution through the eyes of a computer programmer with a video installation featuring the work of world renowned graphic artist Karl Sims. Sims' retrospective exhibition focuses on his early work, spanning from 1988 through 1994. The animations and programs present examples of his work in creating virtual creatures and evolution. The exhibition will be on display through Wednesday, March 4. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Fisher University Union. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Sims studied Life Sciences as an undergraduate at MIT and computer graphics at the MIT Media Lab. His current work is focuses on producing special effects software for the motion picture industry through GenArts, Inc. in Cambridge, Massachusetts, of which he is President and has founded.
