While times are tough, invest in something that will last a lifetime. The 10th annual University of North Carolina Wilmington Stompin' at the Savoy fundraiser, created to support merit scholarships for in-state, academically talented students who indicate an interest in diversity concerns, will be held 8 p.m. - 12 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2009 in the Burney Center.

More than 300 people are expected to attend the night of music and dance. Tickets are $50 for the general public and $25 for UNC Wilmington faculty and staff (limit of two at the discounted rate). The ticket price includes beer, wine and heavy hors d'oeuvres. The event features live music by The Four Knights and the chance to meet the diverse students whom this special event benefits.
