Job-Hunting Boot Camp for UNC Wilmington Students April 15

As nervous students plan to graduate into a barren job market, University of North Carolina Wilmington Career Service's Job Search Boot Camp is equipping them with the tools they need to succeed.

WHEN: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Wednesday, April 15, 2009
WHERE: Fisher University Union 2035, Career Center
WHAT: UNC Wilmington students and alumni will be coached on vital job-seeking skills including resume building, cover letter construction and job interviewing. Professional career counselors will guide students through job searching and personal finance planning.

The event is a service of the UNCW Career Center, which has increased its extensive services to combat the economic downturn. The unemployment of young bachelor's degree holders is expected to rise from 3.4 to 4.1 percent.
