Economic Analyst at UNC Wilmington to Forecast Southeastern N.C. Outlook June 23

Economic analyst William "Woody" Hall of the Universityof North Carolina Wilmington Cameron School of Business will share insightsinto the economic future of Southeastern North Carolina during the Business andEconomic Services (CBES)'s mid-year economic outlook press conference at 10a.m. Tuesday, June 23 in Computer Information Systems building room 1004.
Hall, UNCW Wilmington senior economist and professor of economics,will be presenting his assessment of the current economy and forecast for thelocal economy during the conference, which is open to the surroundingcommunity. UNCW faculty have been monitoring the local economy for more than twodecades. Historically, their examination of data has resulted in accurateprojections of changes in the N.C. economy. Such information can benefit local businessoperators and public officials.
This upcoming briefing will supplement the annualforecast that will be presented at the annual UNCW Economic Outlook Conferencethis October.
Personalinterviews with Hall and other experts will be available. Attending media willreceive press packets including CDs with informational graphs and data.
