Full Volume Test of UNC Wilmington's Seahawk Warning Siren System Monday, July 13 at NOON

UNC Wilmington will conduct a full volume test of the Seahawk Warning Siren System and the emergency Cable TV interrupt system on Monday, July 13, 2009 at noon. This is only a test and will last approximately 4 to 5 minutes. UNCW students, faculty, staff and visitors are not required to take action when the siren is sounded at this time. The Seahawk Warning Siren System is an outdoor emergency warning tool and may not be audible inside all university buildings.If this were an actual emergency, people on campus will be asked to:
1. Take shelter indoors
2. Seek out further information about the emergency
3. Wait for an all clear notification
