Tuesday, March 02, 2010
According to the latest weather advisories for the Wilmington area, there is the potential for some snow or ice beginning after midnight Tuesday night and continuing into the early morning hours Wednesday. When traveling to campus Wednesday morning, please use extra caution and watch for icy patches, particularly on bridges and overpasses. Conditions may be more hazardous for those traveling into Wilmington from outlying areas. As rain continues in the area, there is also the potential for high water in areas prone to flooding, and more rain may fall if temperatures do not drop below freezing. Again, use extra caution, leave extra time to make your commute and do not attempt to drive through standing water.
