100 UNCW International Students and Friends to Share BBQ and Volleyball April 25

More than 100 University of North Carolina Wilmington international students, English as a Second Language students, Study Abroad Ambassadors, host families and others will come together for a day of "Fun in the Sun" Sunday, April 25. The festivities will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. at Capt'n Bills Backyard Grill & Volleyball.
Students from France, Italy, Chile, Spain, India and many other countries will share a Southern-style meal of pork BBQ and chicken with all the fixings. The multicultural group will play sand volleyball, horseshoes, bocce ball and cornhole together. Following the games, an award ceremony will be held to honor some outstanding students of the year.
Sponsored by the Office of International Programs, this event aims to bring together a diverse group of cultures and experiences.
