Commencement 2010: More Than 1,900 UNCW Seahawks to Fly On Their Own

A new flock University of North Carolina Wilmington Seahawks will fly into the world on May 7-8, 2010 during the 79th* commencement exercises in Trask Coliseum. An estimated 1,695 undergraduate and 265 graduate students will receive degrees.

Four ceremonies will be held over two days:

- 2 p.m. Friday, May 7 - Cameron School of Business

- 5:30 p.m. Friday, May 7 - Watson School of Education/School of Nursing

- 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 8 - Sciences, Arts and Humanities in the College of Arts and Sciences

- 1 p.m. Saturday, May 8 - Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences

Guests do not need tickets to attend any of the commencement ceremonies. The public is advised to avoid university entrances, as surrounding traffic will be heavy. Parking for commencement will be limited. General visitors parking will be available in nearby K Extension and Greene Track lots, while handicap parking will be available in Lot K.
