According to the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA), the Boil Water Advisory implemented on Friday has been lifted and mandatory water conservation measures are no longer in effect for UNCW and other CFPUA customers. The original advisory was the result of a major water main break on Friday, July 23, on Cornelius Harnett Drive. Water analysis is now complete and the water distribution system is now functioning under normal operations.
