The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Advisory for New Hanover County through 7:30 p.m. TODAY. UNCW classes and events are running on a regular schedule unless otherwise communicated by the event organizer.

Students, faculty and staff should exercise caution when traveling to and from campus, as well as through the campus. Isolated flooding on roadways is possible. Areas that are prone to flooding include the intersection of Reynolds Drive and Cahill, Wagoner Drive near Kenan Auditorium and Parking Lot E. Avoid low lying areas and outdoor activities while rain continues due to heavy lighting associated with the thunderstorms.
