300 Business Leaders to Explore N.C.'s Economic Future at Entrepreneurship Summit Hosted by UNCW Sept. 19-20

More than 300 business leaders from across the state will explore the "Keys to NC's Economic Future" at the fourth biannual North Carolina Entrepreneurship Summit event Sunday, Sept. 19 - Monday, Sept. 20 at the Hilton Wilmington Riverside.

The statewide gathering, designed to bring together small businesses and high-growth entrepreneurs with the mission of strengthening the state economy and expanding 'homegrown' jobs, is co-sponsored by the University of North Carolina Wilmington. Summit collaborations will focus on strengthening state and local policy supporting entrepreneurship, enhancing entrepreneurial education, fostering entrepreneurship in creative industry sectors including biotechnology and more.

U.S. Congressman Mike McIntyre, PPD Executive Chairman Fred Eshelman, N.C. Small Business Commissioner Scott Daugherty and North Carolina Department of Commerce Secretary Keith Crisco are a sampling of the numerous high-profile speakers.
