UNCW College Day Offers Opportunities for Public to Become Students for a Day, Oct. 30

The University of North Carolina Wilmington invites the public to become college students for a day by attending the eighth annual College Day from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 30. While the program has limited enrollment, spaces are still available.

College Day participants select four classes to attend throughout the day from a schedule of 33 one-hour presentations with UNCW faculty. Class options represent a range of liberal arts disciplines within the College of Arts and Sciences. From Chemistry to Theater, from Creative Writing to Geology, from Film Studies to Computer Science, College Day students enjoy a sample of the UNCW experience. The cost is $40 per person for members of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UNCW and $60 for non-members. There is a special discounted rate for families considering UNCW; please call the Registrar's Office for more information. College Day includes a catered lunch at Warwick Center. Payment may be made by cash, check or credit card.
