The initial meeting of the Chancellor Search Committee for the University of North Carolina Wilmington will be held at 9:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 12, 2010, in the Multipurpose Room of the new Nursing Building.

Media representatives and members of the public are welcome to attend this open session.

At this organizational meeting of the Chancellor Search Committee, UNC President-Elect Tom Ross will present the charge to the committee. Other agenda items include discussion of the search process and timetable, planning and setting dates for several public forums, and developing a committee meeting schedule.
