UNC Wilmington Commencement to be Simulcast Live via Web and Cable TV

Fall 2010 Commencement exercises for the University of North Carolina Wilmington will be broadcast live in their entirety on Saturday, Dec. 11 by UNCW Television. The broadcast will be available on the Learning Network on Time Warner Cable channel 5 and Charter Cable channel 12.The broadcast will also be simulcast online at http://uncwtv.uncw.edu/specialevent.html. Viewers will need Flash 10 installed to view the content. There is no cost to view the program. The broadcast will not begin until the ceremony has started, with the first ceremony at 9:30 a.m. and the second at 1 p.m.
Approximately 1070 undergraduate students and 270 graduate students will receive degrees at two ceremonies. Students of the Professional Schools (Cameron School of Business, Watson School of Education, and College of Health and Human Services) will graduate at 9:30 a.m., and students of the Colleges of Arts and Sciences will graduate at 1 p.m.
