The University of North Carolina Wilmington Chancellor Search Committee will hold meetings of the full committee Friday, March 18-Sunday, March 20, 2011. Meetings will be held at the Rizzo Conference Center owned by UNC Chapel Hill's Kenan-Flagler School of Business and located at 150 DuBose House Lane in the Meadowmont Village community of Chapel Hill.

The meeting will convene at 10 a.m., Friday, March 18. Following adoption of a closed session motion to consider the qualifications, competence, and character of an individual prospective employee under N.C.G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(6), the committee will go into closed session at approximately 10:15 a.m. The committee will remain in closed session during the course of March 18 until approximately 6 p.m., and will reconvene on Saturday, March 19 at 9 a.m. Again, following adoption of a closed session motion to consider the qualifications, competence, and character of an individual prospective employee under N.C.G.S. § 143-318.11(a)(6), the committee will go into closed session at approximately 9:05 a.m. and remain in closed session until approximately 6 p.m. The committee will reconvene at 8 a.m. Sunday, March 20, again going into closed session at about 8:05 a.m. and remain in closed session until approximately 2 p.m. At the end of the closed session Sunday, the committee will reconvene in open session for a very brief period, approximately 15 minutes, to conclude the meeting.

Media representatives and members of the public may attend the very brief open sessions.
