There will be a special called meeting, with some members participating by conference call connection, of the UNC Wilmington Board of Trustees at 4 p.m., Tuesday, April 12, 2011, in Alderman Hall, Room 215.

The one agenda item for consideration will be discussed in closed session as allowed under the Open Meetings Act in order to "establish or instruct the staff or agent concerning the negotiation of the amount of compensation or other terms of an employment contract" and to "consider the qualifications, competence, performance, condition of appointment of a public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee." [N.C.G.S. & 143-318.11 (a) (5) and (6)]
