UNC Wilmington Commencement to be Simulcast Live via Web and Cable TV May 13 and 14

Spring 2011 Commencement exercises for the University of North Carolina Wilmington will be broadcast live in their entirety on Friday, May 13 and Saturday, May 14 by UNCW Television. The broadcast will be available on the Learning Network on Time Warner Cable channel 5 and Charter Cable channel 12.

The broadcast will also be simulcast online at http://uncwtv.uncw.edu/graduation.html. Viewers will need Flash 10 installed to view the content. There is no cost to view the program. Each broadcast will begin when the ceremony has started, which will be on the following schedule:

  • 2 p.m., May 13 - Cameron School of Business
  • 5:30 p.m., May 13 - Watson School of Education & College of Health and Human Services
  • 9:30 a.m., May 14 - Sciences, Humanities and Graduate Liberal Studies in the College of Arts and Sciences
  • 1 p.m., May 14 - Creative Arts and Social Sciences in the College of Arts and Sciences

An estimated 1,800 undergraduate and 285 graduate students are expected to graduate during the four ceremonies.
