Sculpture on the Commons, Outdoor Exhibit
Monday, June 06, 2011
The Boseman Gallery announces the exhibit Sculpture on the Commons through July 28. Three outdoor sculptures, created by students in assistant professor Andi Steele's Intermediate and Advanced Sculpture classes, can be seen on the Campus Commons. They were created from a variety of materials, including steel, wood and found objects. The pieces were selected through a juried process by faculty of the UNCW Art & Art History Department, co-sponsors of the exhibit.
The Boseman Gallery is the visual arts hub for the UNCW Division of Student Affairs. The gallery provides for thought-provoking and cultural opportunities for the campus community and functions as a student laboratory for gallery management.
