Storm systems have caused flooding throughout the University of North Carolina Wilmington campus. The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for UNCW and the surrounding areas today, Wednesday, June 29 until 7 p.m.

Faculty, staff and students are urged to take caution while on and around campus into the evening, as UNCW has experienced more than four inches of rain and continued rainfall is expected. Avoid driving through standing water.

As conditions warrant, status updates will be posted on the UNCW website, www.uncw.edu/alert and the UNCW Alert Emergency Information Hotline at 910.962.3991 or 888.657.5751. In the meantime, please seek updated weather information from local media.
