Thursday, July 07, 2011
TODAY, Monday, July 11 at noon, the University of North Carolina
Wilmington will conduct a full volume test of the Seahawk Warning
Siren System and related emergency communication tools, including
text messaging. The siren test will last approximately 4 to 5
minutes. No action is required when the siren sounds at this
time.
Tests of the UNCW Alert emergency communication system will be
posted during the sounding of the siren. In an actual emergency,
refer to the UNCW homepage, the
UNCW Alert site, www.uncw.edu/alert,
