The test of the Seahawk Warning Siren System and the UNCW Alert emergency notification system scheduled for today, Monday, Aug. 1, has been postponed until next Monday, Aug. 8 at Noon. UNCW is committed to meeting the highest standards for the protection and notification of the campus community in the event of an emergency and will perform a test next Monday of all systems, including the siren, text and voice messaging to cell phone numbers, website and social media postings, email notification, the Emergency Information Hotline and cable TV interrupt.
