THIS IS A TEST of the UNCW Alert emergency notification system at 12:05 p.m., Monday, Sept. 19, 2011. This is ONLY a test of the Seahawk Warning Siren System and UNCW Alert emergency communication tools. No action needs to be taken at this time.

When the siren sounds in an actual emergency, seek shelter immediately and stay sheltered until the all clear tone sounds. Monitor your cell phone, the UNCW homepage, www.uncw.edu/alert , the Emergency Information Hotline at 910.962.3991 or 888.657.5751 and local media for updated information.
