Fall 2011 Commencement exercises for the University of North Carolina Wilmington will be broadcast live in their entirety on Saturday, Dec. 17 by UNCW Television. The broadcast will be available on the Learning Network on Time Warner Cable channel 5 and Charter Cable channel 12.

The broadcast will also be simulcast online at www.uncw.edu/tv. Viewers will need Flash 10 to view the content. A download of Flash 10 is available at http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/.

There is no cost to view the program. Each broadcast will begin when the ceremony starts (no video will run prior to that time), which will be on the following schedule:

  • 9:30 a.m., UNCW Professional Schools (Cameron School of Business, College of Health and Human Services, Watson School of Education
  • 1 p.m., UNCW College of Arts and Sciences

An estimated 1,120 undergraduate, 250 graduate and 9 doctoral students are expected to receive their degrees during the two ceremonies.
