Entrepreneurship Goes Global at UNCW Feb. 21

The University of North Carolina Wilmington Entrepreneurship Center is partnering with the North Carolina World Trade Association to sponsor Going Global, a free event designed to help small businesses and entrepreneurs expand on an international scale. Participants will have the chance to meet with representatives from the Department of Commerce, lawyers, accountants, and marketing and logistics experts.

What: UNCW Entrepreneurship Center's "Going Global" event

When: 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21

Where: Warwick Center, UNCW Campus

"Going Global" will feature booths that represent many aspects of international business including legal, tax, marketing, shipping and banking. Attendees will learn about expanding sales, marketing and growth opportunities overseas. Food and drink will be provided as an opportunity for entrepreneurs to network and build important connections.

The mission of the UNC Wilmington Entrepreneurship Center is to be a catalyst for entrepreneurial growth in Southeastern North Carolina by linking together emerging and high-growth ventures, entrepreneurs and relevant support organizations to create business growth, jobs and innovation.
