Department of Film Studies Co-Sponsors “Learning with the Lights Off: Readin’, Writin’, and Revolution” Sept. 13 at the Cameron Art Museum

The UNC Wilmington Film Studies Department and the
Cameron Art Museum are co-sponsoring a program that focuses on
educational films from the 1960s and 1970s.
"Learning with the Lights Off: Readin', Writin', and Revolution,"
a presentation by A/V Geeks, will be held at 7 p.m., Sept. 13, at
the Cameron Art Museum. Requested donations are: $3 each for
Cameron Museum members and students; $5 each for the general
public.
The evening will include a scholarly introduction by Marsha
Orgeron, associate professor of film studies at N.C. State
University, co-editor of "The Moving Image" and editor of the
recently published "Learning with the Lights Off, Educational Film
in the United States" with Oxford University
Press.
