Recruiters from more than 50 companies are expected to attend the UNCW Internship and Job Fair from noon to 3 p.m., Oct. 31, in the Burney Center.

During the event, students will network with employers from a wide variety of industries including banking, law enforcement, technology, pharmaceutical research, media, healthcare and others.

May and December 2012 graduates will notice a more optimistic job outlook, with 68 percent of U.S. industries adding jobs so far this year.  Examples include:

• business and professional services, which added 78,000 jobs
• health care and social services, which added 44,000 jobs
• and leisure and hospitality services, which added 37,000 jobs.
