Wilmington, N.C. - About 500 UNCW students and community volunteers plan to meet in Hanover Hall on Nov. 10 to package thousands of healthy meals for Stop Hunger Now, an international organization founded by alumnus Ray Buchanan, Class of 1972.

Students have taken part in Stop Hunger Now events for a number of years; this year, the Center for Leaderhip, Education and Service (CLES) is organizing UNCW's participation. UNCW is working in partnership with volunteers from St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Read more in a Nov. 4 article in the Star-News.
