Students also will collect cell phones and monetary at the following community events:

  • UNCW Leadership Lecture with Joe Klein in the Burney Center – Monday, February 18
  • St. Patrick’s Day Parade and Festival, Downtown Wilmington – Saturday, March 16
  • Fort Fisher Car Show – Saturday, March 23
  • UNCW Baseball Game – Saturday, March 23
  • UNCW Resident Assistant 5K – Sunday, March 24

“Our goal this semester is to really focus on creating a lasting bond between UNCW, the Wilmington community, and the Cell Phones for Soldiers organization,” said leadership studies student Alexandra Lemley.
