Spring 2013 Commencement Information, Volunteers Needed

UNCW students march into Trask Coliseum during Commencement exercises.

The Office of Transition Programs announces the spring commencement ceremonies will be held on May 10 and May 11 in Trask Coliseum. Faculty members should report to Trask Coliseum room 117, in their regalia thirty minutes prior each ceremony. Below are the times for each ceremony.

Friday, May 10
2 p.m. - Cameron School of Business
5:30 p.m. - Watson College of Education and College of Health and Human Service

Saturday, May 11
9:30 a.m. - Sciences, Humanities & Graduate Liberal Studies in the College of Arts & Sciences
1 p.m. - Creative Arts & Social Sciences in the College of Arts & Sciences

**Undergraduates, Master’s and doctoral candidates participate in the ceremony in which their school/major is associated.

ASSIST WITH THE SPRING 2013 COMMENCEMENT CEREMONIES
Transition Programs is looking for faculty and staff to assist with commencement. The success of this event is due to the hard work of faculty and staff. Employees can choose to work one or multiple ceremonies. Duties include passing out programs, directing guests to seats, etc. supervisors can work with employees in adjusting their work schedules for commencement or providing compensatory time off. Questions related to recording commencement as compensable time can be answered by Human Resources. Sign-up online if you are able to assist with commencement
