Boseman Gallery Showcasing Archive of Student Prints

The UNCW Association for Campus Entertainment (ACE) presents From the Archives: UNCW Student Prints 1985-2013, Aug. 29-Sept. 28 in the Ann Flack Boseman Gallery. This exhibit features works in etching, woodcut, screen-printing and lithography.

With pieces by Lewyn Stewart, Shannon Bourne, Jo Bellamy, Jim Myers, Kate Sinclair, Will Preyer and others, the show gives a sampling of nearly 30 years of work by UNCW student artists. This eclectic collection is comprised of blurred landscapes, Surrealist depictions and juxtapositions of the everyday and the whimsical.

Join the artists and curator of the show, UNCW Professor of Art and Art History Donald Furst, at 1 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 29 for an opening reception. The gallery is located on the second floor of the Fisher University Union.
