The UNCW Women’s Studies and Resource Center will host the 2014 Southeastern Women’s Studies Association Conference (SEWSA 2014). The conference will welcome more than 250 scholars, students and community members around the theme of “The Ebb and Flow of Feminism.”
The conference will be held on campus, March 27-29, 2014 and feature lectures, panel discussions, workshops, art exhibits, community roundtables, screenings and visits with filmmakers. Collaborating with on-campus groups, departments, and community partners, the WSRC anticipates an exceptional discussion about social change, and the interrelationships among women’s, gender, and sexuality studies. Registration for the conference is required. Some events are free and open to the public.
See www.uncw.edu/sewsa/ for details. Papers accepted through Nov. 1.
