Liszt200, a yearlong bicentennial celebration of the works of Fanz Liszt, continues with "The Visionary as Virtuoso", featuring pianist Norman Bemelmans and Lizst’s epic sonata in b-minor. Bemelmans’ interpretations of Liszt have received enthusiastic international critical acclaim. Italy's Il Tempo wrote, “the combination of lyrical subtlety and virtuosic power was overwhelming in its impact. Bemelmans plays Liszt the way Liszt is meant to be played."
