Marcia Daft: "Moving Through Math"
Teaching Artist Residency

Marcia Daft is a professional musician and nationally recognized arts educator, who has spent twenty years developing innovative classroom curriculums that help teachers engage students in learning about Math and Science. Daft's Moving Through Math program has been so successful at bringing mathematics to life for students and teachers, that is has been permanently adopted by individual schools and school systems throughout the US.
Gregory School of Science, Mathematics & Technology has been selected to host this residency. The three day program will introduce teachers, students and parents how to successful integrate the arts into the math curriculum.
