Admitted Students: Your Guide to Auxiliary Services

Congratulations on being admitted to UNCW!

The services offered by Auxiliary Services will help to make your time here at UNCW an enjoyable experience. Please note that some services are required:

  • All students are required to have a UNCW One Card.
  • A parking permit is required if you park on UNCW property
  • Students are required to purchase a meal plan in certain instances based on their housing arrangement as noted below.
  • Campus mailboxes are required for freshmen, residential students and international students.

Textbooks at the UNCW Bookstore

After you register for classes at orientation, you can login to your SeaNet account, view the textbooks you will need for the semester (based on your registration) and order your textbooks online from the UNCW Bookstore. You can choose to purchase new books as well as rental and e-books (when available) to save money!

With 15 campus dining locations open from early morning to late night, there is something for everyone!

You will sign up for your meal plan at orientation.

Meal plans are REQUIRED for students living on campus (except for students living in Seahawk Village, Landing and Crossing).

There are several VOLUNTARY MEAL PLANS available to commuter students and residents of Seahawk Village, Landing and Crossing.

UNCW is a Pedestrian First Campus, encouraged through use of pedestrian corridors and multi-use paths. Bike paths and bike racks are provided to encourage bicycling.

Parking is provided for all students, including freshmen. A parking permit is REQUIRED if you park on UNCW property, and you must park in your designated zone. Students may register for a parking permit online through mySeaport.

Seahawk shuttles provide several off-campus and on-campus routes. You can ride any UNCW Shuttle and WAVE transit bus free of charge simply by showing your current UNCW One Card.





The UNCW Passport Acceptance Agency, located in the Fisher University Union, is a convenient spot on campus to get your first-time passport.

iPrint Business Center

With iPrint, you can send your print job to any iPrint printer on campus from your personal computer whether you're on campus or off campus. When you're ready, just go to the printer and release your print job.

The iPrint Business Center, in the Randall Library, is a student-focused business center providing copying services, laminating, wide-format printing, resumé packages, UNCW-related materials and more.

You will receive your campus mailbox assignment at orientation.

Campus mailboxes are REQUIRED and automatically assigned to freshmen, residential students and international students. Other students MAY REQUEST a campus mailbox.

Seahawk Mail, in the Fisher University Union, is a full-service post office that also offers fax services, notary services and more.

UNCW One Card

You will receive your UNCW One Card at orientation.

All UNCW students are REQUIRED to have a UNCW One Card. Your One Card provides access to many services and events on campus and is your official student identification card.

Seahawk Buck$, a declining balance debit account linked to your UNCW One Card, can be used at point-of-sale locations on campus. You can manage your Seahawk Buck$ account online.
