- One element of the strategic plan of the university
is to provide on-campus housing for 40% of our undergraduate
students. The privatized student housing program,
which will provide housing for approx. 1780 students,
will help to accomplish this strategic goal.
- Phase
I of the program (Seahawk Village Apartments) was
completed for occupancy August 2006.
- With the completion of Phase II (Seahawk Landing), in
August 2007, UNCW will be able to provide on-campus
housing for approx. 34% of its undergraduate students.
- Phase III (Seahawk Crossing) was
completed for occupancy August 2009.

Current Usage: |
- Housing for 603 students in 7 apartment
buildings, with a mix of 2-, 3-, and 4-bedroom apartments.
- Seahawk Landing includes Market Place convenience store,
The Landing coffee shop with food service, a
fitness center, and swimming pool.
