Description
The University Police Department employs approcimately
15 part-time security guards throughout the year. These individuals
support the police department's security function and require
the wearing of a uniform. Responsiblities include walking
an assigned beat, notifying police personnel of security and
police matters, enforcing parking regulations, directing traffic,
security escorts, and special event securtiy. Though most
of the work hours are at night, hours are flexible and varied.
