Governor Bev Perdue and the National Weather Service (NWS) has declared March 2-6 Severe Weather Awareness Week in North Carolina. During this week, the NWS will host daily Public Information Statements related to severe weather. These statements will be available on the internet at www.weather.gov/ilm as well as over NOAA Weather and All Hazards Radios. UNCW EH&S will also issue daily severe weather tips and information during this week this site.
