Lee
B. Garrett was appointed to the UNCW Board of Trustees by the
governor to a term that ends in 2009. She serves as a member of the business affairs committee and educational planning and programs committee.
Garrett is an interior designer and a mother of four who lives
in Wilmington. After attending UNCW in 1975-76, she earned her bachelor’s
degree in interior design from East Carolina University.
She is a member of the Colonial Dames of America and the Cameron
Museum of Art and Bellamy Mansion board of directors. Garrett served
on the UNCW Board of Visitors and the University of North Carolina’s
Lineburger Cancer Center board.
