The dean of the Cameron School of Business reports directly to the provost / vice chancellor of academic affairs. The dean provides academic, intellectual and administrative leadership to four multidisciplinary departments.

The dean is expected to lead the school in further development of its capabilities for superior teaching, innovative curriculum development, exemplary scholarly research and effective fiscal, program and human resource management.

The dean is further expected to articulate the mission of the Cameron School of Business to both internal and external constituencies, to enhance the role of the school in the business community, to develop and manage financial resources, and to extend its vision by attracting a more diverse group of high-achieving students and faculty.
