Lab Notebook Requirements

  • Please refer to Appendix C in the CHML211-212 Laboratory Manual for Organic Chemistry for formatting rules and sample notebook entries.

  • Technique experiments are noted with a "T" and synthesis experiments are noted with a "S".  Be sure to use the correct format when preparing notebook.

  • Some experiments do not require any entries in the laboratory notebook.  If the experiment is not listed below, no lab notebook entry is required.
