Friday, August 21, 2009:  Welcome to the first day of class for CHM-595. Please plan to arrive each Friday at 2:30 pm for a meet-the-speaker session.  However, this first Friday of the semester, we wiIl meet at 2:45 pm (in DO 205) and I will give a brief introduction to the course policies, requirements and grading.  CHM 501 (UNCW faculty research) talks will take place during the normal seminar time (3:00 -) for the first three Fridays of the fall semester.     Check back here often for important information about the class.
