The Deportee's Wife by Giselle Stern Hernandez
The CHHS Globilization, Culture and Diversity Committee invites all CHHS faculty, staff and students to a Cultural Arts Activity, “The Deportee’s Wife”, Monday, March 18th, at 7:00 p.m. in McNeill Hall, room 1005, with a reception at 8:15 p.m. in the lobby.
This dynamic solo piece uses poet and playwright Giselle Stern Hernández’ own complex love story to reveal issues of race, class, and gender that surround the North American immigration debate. This event is co- sponsored with the UNCW Centro Hispano.
