Not only do UNCW students strive for academic excellence, they also strive to make a difference in their communities through leadership and service during their time as UNCW students and after graduation.

• The Cornerstone Student Awards are presented each spring to students who have demonstrated the attributes of leadership and service.
• The Graduation Pledge is a vehicle for seniors to confirm their intention to carry forward the principals of citizen involvement into their working lives.
• The Leadership Grove provides an opportunity to recognize persons who have made outstanding contributions to the UNCW community.
