Earn a Leadership UNCW Certificate in ...

All certificates have a common set of requirements that include:

ELECTIVE WORKSHOPS
Any workshop can count as an elective (or "additional workshop of your choice") for a certificate, with the exception of the Leadership Concepts workshop since this is required for all certificates. For example, a workshop required for the Organizational Leadership Certificate (i.e. Conflict Management) can count as an elective workshop toward completing the Civic and Community Engagement Certificate.

WRITTEN REFLECTIONS
Reflections should be 200-300 words in length, written in paragraph form, and address:

  • what you learned from participating in the specific workshop
  • what you plan to do in the future to apply what was learned during the workshop

Submit completed reflections via email to CLES, either in the text of the email or as an attachment.

There is no deadline for completing written reflections, though it is suggested that you complete them within two weeks of each workshops. You will not complete the requirements and earn a certificate without written reflections on file for each workshop attended.
