Programs and Events
Throughout the school year, students have the opportunity to participate in various programs and events that promote Community Standards at UNCW. These are fun and educational programs, as well as ways that UNCW students can give back to their community.
Join us for the eighth annual House Calls, a program that involves faculty and staff interacting with students in the residence halls! Developed by the Office of Housing and Residence Life in conjunction with the Community Standards Committee, we are looking for outstanding volunteers to walk through the first-year residential areas, to knock on students’ doors and check in with them to see how the first semester is progressing.
House Calls are scheduled to take place on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 4:00 PM-5:00 PM. Participants will receive a Cornerstone t-shirt and dinner at Wagoner will be provided immediately following. If you do volunteer please reply with your preferred t-shirt size and whether or not you will attend the Wagoner dinner.
Interested volunteers please contact Meredith Vaughn at firstname.lastname@example.org or x23976 by October 17, 2014. Upon volunteering, we will provide you with more detailed information about the event and your responsibilities including notification of which residence hall you will be visiting for the program.
We look forward to seeing you for the House Calls program!
