Standards in Student Organizations
In addition to use in each residence hall, compacts/standards can be used by student organizations and administrative departments. As an example, the following community standards were agreed upon by the 2009-2010 A.C.E. (Association for Campus Entertainment) Executive Board:
- Prioritize office space
- Keep clean work environment
- Ask questions and provide answers
- Be responsible for office equipment
- Keep everyone “In the Know” – cc e-mails to important people
- Be responsible/accountable for your actions and language
- Be considerate of others personal lives
- Be up front
- Stay positive, no complaining
- Open Door Policy
