in-harmony Tips

Litttle things and big celebrations keep us in-Harmony with the earth and our environment

  • Next Earth Day is April 22nd, 2013; so plan far ahead!
  • Remember, turn your lights off leaving your room!
  • Give your time to those in need.

Mind - Body - Spirit - Nature

In Harmony is dedicated to understanding the relationship of our mind, body, feelings and inner spirit for our sense of harmony, peace, confidence and creative drive - in our studies, work and life direction.. When our thoughts, feelings and activities are in harmony with our deepest values and life purpose we find growing meaning in our academics, our relationships and life.

The modern science of mind-body-spirit disciplines reinforces traditional knowledge around the world that when there is proper nurturance of mind and body, sustained by nature and our inner spirit, health and well-being prosper. We enhance this nurturance through balanced life-style and mind-body activities that are natural to us, such as meditation, exercise, good food, music, reading, discussion, and spending time with nature and good company.

Culture of the mind must be subservient to the heart. - Mohandas Gandhi

Body

To keep the body in good health is a duty... otherwise we shall not be able to keep our mind strong and clear. - Buddha

Nature

Forget not that the earth delights to feel your bare feet and the winds long to play with your hair. - Kahlil Gibran

Virtue is harmony. - Pythagoras
