Cape Fear Recovery Month Call to Artists
Submission Deadline: extended to May 15th!
All students,ages14-29 and who are currently enrolled in New Hanover County Schools (including UNCW) are invited to submit original art for the Cape Fear Recovery Month Art Show to be held at the Sherman L. Hayes Gallery (1st floor) of the Randall Library at the University of North Carolina Wilmington in July and August 2012. Judges will be looking for outstanding expressionsof addiction and/or recovery through two dimensional art and awards will be given for the top three submissions: $100 for first place, $50 for second place, and $25 for third place. There is no entry fee and artists retain ownership of their original artwork. Images of the top 12 submissions may be showcased in the 2013 Cape Fear Recovery Month calendar. One image will be selected for the 2012 Cape Fear Recovery Month Poster. Funds from sales of the calendar and poster will be used for the 2013 Cape Fear Recovery Month event.

CROSSROADS Volunteer Group!

CROSSROADS is initiating a brand new volunteer group to help with peer education around campus. This group is open to anyone and is completely voluntary. As a CROSSROADS volunteer you will help out with the presentation of programs, tabling, and other educational events. Volunteering is a great way to get involved and learn about what we do!
