Peer Evaluations

Peer evaluations are a mandated part of faculty evaluation in the UNC system. The manner in which peer evaluations should take place, however, is neither mandated nor practiced uniformly throughout the system. In fact, peer evaluations are not uniform even among departments at the same university at UNCW. This is not necessarily a mistake since so many different teaching venues in so many discinplines are practiced here and each require somewhat different criteria for evaluation.
