The former NBA basketball star and current entrepreneur and philanthropist talked with hundreds of New Hanover County middle school students and UNCW students as well as other guests about building a successful life, overcoming challenges and achieving personal goals. Johnson’s visit to the UNCW campus was made possible through a generous gift from local businesswoman Wilma Daniels and her family. Daniels is a member of the UNCW Board of Trustees.
